Topic

"Health Insurance: Market-based or Washington-based?"

Ronald Bachman’s presentation will cover the pros and cons of two different political strategies to provide affordable health insurance for all Americans. It will include an overview of the Obama and McCain health insurance proposals. The presentation will also describe how the health insurance market can serve the entire country, including the 47 million uninsureds. The presentation reviews a four generation model describing the future of health insurance and steps on how to move the country towards a more informed consumer, empowered to make good health and healthcare purchasing decisions.
